ABOUT IN HER CORNER FITNESS


At In Her Corner Fitness, we believe movement is about strength, confidence, and connection. Our classes are designed just for girls ages 8–14, blending fitness with reflection so every session helps her grow inside and out.


MOVEMENT WITH MEANING

More than exercise — every class is a tool for growth. Our program is built on three core pillars:


• Strength: Fun, age-appropriate workouts that help girls feel capable in their bodies


• Confidence:  Reflection moments that encourage self-awareness and positive self-talk


• Community:  A supportive environment where she knows she’s not alone


INSIDE A CLASS

Effective and intentional. Each class runs 15–20 minutes and follows a clear flow:


Warm-Up → Workout → Reflection → Cool-Down


A mat is required. Bands or light weights are optional, with guidance to add them gradually and safely for extra challenge.


Every class is designed with flexible options, allowing her to move at her own pace while building strength and confidence the right way.

MEET SCARLET

Hi, I’m Scarlet Rodriguez, the founder of In Her Corner Fitness. I am a former college athlete, Pilates instructor, and certified youth strength trainer. I also hold a Master’s degree in Human Development.


Coaches and mentors throughout my journey shaped my confidence on and off the court. Their support showed me how powerful movement and guidance can be in a young girl’s life.


I created In Her Corner Fitness to carry that support forward. My mission is to help every girl feel strong in her body, confident in her mind, and connected to a positive community.

As a parent or caregiver, do I need to do the classes with her?

No. Girls can take the classes on their own. Parents and caregivers are always welcome to join, and many enjoy it as a way to connect, but it is not required.
